My gaming buddies bought the new DLC for Borderlands, so we were at it again tonight. Two of us had not yet played the Moxi content, so we tackled one of those arenas first and then headed off to confront General Knoxx in his armory.
It’s funny how wrong I was in thinking Borderlands was a game that wouldn’t last. My friends and I finished the main story together, we played through the zombie isle of Dr. Ned together, we’ve finished a third of the Moxi content (I think), and we spent at least an hour or so going after Knoxx.
It really seems like the game gets better with experience, or maybe I get better at playing it? Whatever the case, I have to say I’ve enjoyed all the DLC packs so far and can recommend them heartily to others. Of the three I think the Moxi pack is probably the “weakest”, insofar as its focus is such a limited arena, but even that is well done and engaging.
I still haven’t found any loot in multi-player that even begins to compare to what I’ve found in single-player, but I’m having fun nevertheless. I hoist a glass to my friends for their buying the game and for spending their time with me. It’s been a blast so far, and I’m looking forward to our next session.
